Hello, dear citizens!

Today, it’s not The Trinity writing to you, but the person behind Dystopicon.

It’s been many years since the game’s first release, and downloads and player feedback have continued steadily over time.

At one point, I even created a survey asking whether you thought the game could make it to Steam—and I was surprised to see that the vast majority of you said yes!

 So, after a long wait and lots of saving, I decided to take the plunge: I hired a 3D artist and gave the game a complete visual overhaul. There's no release date yet, but the Steam page is now live!

 If you’ve played Dystopicon and would like to see the game go even further, all we ask is that you hit that Add to Wishlist button on Steam to help us gain more visibility.

 We’ll be releasing a demo during the Steam Political Sim Fest, which takes place from September 8 to 15, showcasing the new visual identity and some additional content.

The full version of the game will likely launch in the first half of 2026.

 The current version on Itch.io will remain available on this page, as it’s been our testing ground and we’re fond of the platform—but the definitive (and paid) version will be released on Steam.
